Mindfulness & Self Compassion:
Quiet the Mind, Open the Heart, & Remember Who We Are
This interview will air on DATE at 7 am Pacific / 10 am New York / 3 pm UK / 4 pm CET.
Kira Elliott is a mindfulness teacher, sound practitioner, writer, and creative guide who helps midlife women quiet the mind, open the heart, and remember who they are. Her work weaves together mindfulness meditation, Buddhist practice, sound, self-compassion, and reflective inquiry in ways that are accessible, grounded, and supportive of real life.
Through meditation, sound practices, writing, and compassionate presence, Kira supports women who are moving through stress, anxiety, overwhelm, transition, and the deeper questions that often arise in midlife. Her approach is gentle, practical, and rooted in the understanding that healing begins when we learn to meet ourselves with awareness and kindness.
Kira’s path has been shaped by decades of personal practice, creative exploration, and spiritual study. She believes mindfulness is not about escaping life, but about coming home to ourselves more fully, even in the midst of change. Her work invites women into greater presence, inner steadiness, and a more loving relationship with themselves and the world around them.
